Cat Doors - How a Simple Flap Can Make Your Life Easier

Some pets attune their rhythms to those of their owners. They wake up almost around the same time, snuggle up close when watching television, sit quietly when the owner is updating her Facebook status. Their adherence to a feeding time can be impeccable. These pets are better than just potty trained. When these kinds of pets are bored, they do not scratch indoor furniture. They could be holed up in your home all day and they won't mess your house up, in rebellion. Time to stop dreaming, time to wake up to reality. You really can't, no matter how hard your try, keep you cat imprisoned indoors. You're going to need cat doors so they can do what they want. Otherwise, indoors, they'll also do as they please.

Sure, it's convenient to be a cat indoors due to the pet feeder that's always full and releases food as scheduled, because a potty station is nearby, but what if the cat gets bored? For example, even if the potty station is nearby they will still pee at the base of your couch, in your laundry hamper, on your work table, and into your computer.

Scratched up furniture, clawed up curtains, the list goes on. If you collect items of value or have paintings on your wall, be prepared to see them scratched up. if you leave soiled dishes and uncapped catsup bottles, you may find them rummaged and broken, or tumbled over and spilling on your carpet. It's possible your cat is just weird, or maybe there's nothing else to do indoors.

If only books fall down from your shelves, consider yourself a lucky pet owner. Some pet owners tend to display some fragile items on their shelves - where else should these items go? A lot of people keep many things on their shelves, which a cat can push or pull and topple over when they're exploring the house - because they can't get out. That's the annoying part - that curiosity has a price and you have to pay for it, along with all the clean up you need to do.

When you're home - you're the butler

So you're home, and you do what you do when at home - relaxing and watching a movie, sleeping soundly, chatting with friends over the Internet - but with a cat that wants to get out, you need to drop what you're doing. All because your cat wants to get out and you are to let it out of the door. If you don't' let your pet out, you could end up with annoying meowing for hours on end - and toppled over items. Later, when they want to come in, they meow non-stop, because you're the butler.

You can be spared of the trouble, the clean ups, the annoyance, the noise, the broken items, the scattered personal belongings, the pee-smelling indoors if you start thinking about buying cat doors.
