A Look At The CatGenie Self-Cleaning Litter Box

The one drawback to the system is that the cartridge that cleans the granules needs replacing every 120 washes.
The CatGenie 120 is an improved model that's been updated but works the same way as the original. One maintenance task you have with this unit is replacing the cartridges, but with the new model, the cartridges last twice as long, so there's less work and expense for you. The cartridge will normally be good for 120 washes, but there's a special setting, Cat Activation, that will double the number of washes.
With this setting, it cleans itself every time your cat uses it. The filters used by this product are biodegradable, so you can be assured that they're gentle on the environment. Overall, the CatGenie 120 is an upgraded version that's designed to make it less expensive and more convenient for you to use.
One concern some cat owners have about buying the CatGenie is that their cat may not like it. You of course know how stubborn your can be when it comes to change. Years of testing on various cats has shown that they will adapt after the initial shock. Cats are, after all, very clean animals, and they will appreciate the tidiness of the CatGenie once they get used to it. Kittens of at least eight weeks old will be able to use this product, and most cats will come to prefer it to a litter box.
CatGenie is a unique product that has many advantages and can make your house more sanitary. If you can afford it, and plan to stay in your current residence for a while, this is a litter box replacement well worth considering.
