Pet Fence - No Contractors or Tools Needed

To keep his dog safe, Andrew was thinking of building a fence - a real physical fence - around his home. It had be a fence Sheepshank the overeager Labrador would not be able to scale, as he has that habit with Andrew's garden fence. There's an open space beyond that garden fence, a spot where Sheepshank and Andrew used to kill lazy afternoons together. But now the space is gone, bulldozed and excavated in prep for low cost housing. But both dog and master longed for that space.

Physical fence, renters, and zoning rules

Had he been renting, the contract he signed would not have allowed substantial property changes - he's lucky he owns his home. If he had been in an area where zoning rules applied, he would still not be able to install a physical fence. But there are impediments Andrew is considering.

The time it would take, and the cost it would entail.
Andrew would have to purchase all the materials and also tools ff he's to build and install the fence himself.
Or he could hire contractors to do that. Besides, will Sheepshank be okay with this, with being fenced in like a convict? And that's after spending a lot for all of it.

Work arounds are available, at a more affordable price

In time your dog will become conditioned to avert that annoying low volt shock by avoiding to bark.

Save for his dog, Andrew lives alone - so he was the one-man contractor that set up his invisible pet fence around his house. He's going to recommend the same set up to his cousin, who rents and cannot install a physical fence despite being a contractor by profession.
