Dog Safety With Electric Fences by Corey Aernet
Most dogs just love to run around and be free but this can cause a lot of safety issues for both you and your dog. Luckily there are products that not only will help so your pet does not need to be tied, but will also keep your dog safer at the same time. Not only that, but you will not need a horrible fence to ruin your landscape.
What I am talking about are invisible electronic dog fences. Basically, what this is is underground fencing that will send an electronic signal to a collar that the dog is wearing. If the dog runs past the properly line that the fence outlines, it will send a small shock to the dog to correct it and notify it to come back.
This shock is not enough to actually harm the dog but it will give a reminder to them that they are outside the allowed space. Eventually, the dog learns and knows exactly where it can go without getting shocked - which is where you want them.
Once your pet learns their boundaries they will be a lot safer. No more pets getting out and roaming around waiting to either get hit by a car or get lost.
It's hard to believe how easy these fences are to install in your yard. Sometimes, even the places that sell them offer services to install them as well. Depending on the size of your yard, it can take only a few hours to have everything ready to go.
After it is installed, you will want to be there to train your dog and teach him where the boundries are. This combined with the shocks will allow him to learn quite quickly.
Electric fences are excellent for someone who needs to leave their dog out for a longer period of time but don't have the time to keep constant watch over them. It is also great for someone who does not agree with tying up their pets in their backyard. These invisible electronic fences will make it stress free for you and your pets.
