A small pet can often be taken aboard the plane as a carry-on item. If you plan to do so, make sure your pet's carrier is small enough to go under your seat. If your dog is not crate trained, acclimate him to a crate before leaving on your trip. Start training him at least two months before traveling so he'll be accustomed to spending long periods confined. The earlier training begins, the better. He'll have more time to make positive connections with his crate.Traveling in a pet friendly vehicle will make the journey relaxing both for you and your pet. Teaching your pet to travel in a vehicle when they are young will make traveling much easier for your pet when they grow old.If you want your vehicle to smell good, you can hang a small deodorizer on the rear view mirrors. If you don't want the deodorizer to be visible, you can place them underneath your seat.I suggest you find out in advance, and purchase one from your local pet shop.
