The common varieties of pet containment systems

Give some time, and with adequate training from the pet owner, the dog will link the tone as something that warns of a buzz, and will not want to go further the marked boundaries. In this manner, your dog will remain inside the marked perimeter. This is normally called an invisible fence - a pet containment system that is growing in popularity due to its effectiveness.
Other types of invisible pet fencing do not make use of wires. Instead, it uses other ways to "mark" an area's boundaries and track your dog's position in relation to the boundaries. One type uses a device that sends out radio signals in all directions up to a certain range - that range is the limit of the perimeter. Similar to the in-ground unit, this type also uses a collar that beeps and buzzes when the dog gets to far from the "edge" of the transmission.
